Keeper’s Council

The Wildwood Theatre is a bastion of creativity and camaraderie, a sanctuary where artists reign supreme. With an unwavering dedication to putting artists at the forefront, the Keepers gather in their own Council within the Wildwood. Here, they wield their influence over policies, exchange ideas, foster collaboration, and so much more.

The Keepers, steeped in wisdom and experience, witness our methods' profound impact on every production and individual involved. Their voices serve as the keystone for instigating changes vital for sculpting The Wildwood's path toward a robust and enduring future.

Who are they?

By a shared dedication to upholding the mission of the Wildwood Theatre, the Keepers Council convenes regularly in a spirit of selflessness and camaraderie, offering their time and expertise on a voluntary basis. Their noble efforts nurture the creative spark that dwells within the heart of every artist, ensuring that the flame of innovation and expression burns brightly in the Wildwood.

The Stewards

In the Keepers Council, the Stewards stand tall at the helm, responsible for upholding their voices. They organize and facilitate meetings and projects, ensuring that the voices of the Keepers resonate through the wood.

Chosen by the Council, the Stewards are imbued with the trust and confidence of their peers. They are both Guardians and harbingers of unity, and the custodians of the bond that connects the Keepers to the Sages.

  • If you have participated in a Wildwood Production, you are invited to join the Council. After each production, the council stewards reach out to the production team artists to formally invite them to join the council.

  • Meetings are held, at minimum, quarterly. At times, the frequency may fluctuate, with a vote from the Council, based on the needs of the Council, and the Wildwood.

  • This, along with many other details, is at the discretion of the Council Stewards in consultation with the rest of the council members.

Meetings have the potential of being in-person, virtual, or a blend of the two, depending on everyone’s individual needs.

  • To join, a formal invitation with instructions on how to express interest is forwarded after the closing of a Wildwood production.

Once you express your interest, a Steward of the Council will welcome you and gather a sense of how you would like to contribute to the Council. From there, you will be added to the Keeper’s Council communications.
